Vintage Aluminum Bowl in Vibrant Blue

The place where the sticker used to be. It even has the traditional shape of an Emalox Norway sticker.

This brilliant blue aluminum bowl is reminiscent of the Emalox Norway brand, but, alas, with the sticker missing from the bottom, we can’t say for sure. (Note the diamond shape mark on the bottom where the sticker used to be.) The bowl measures approximately 12″ in diameter across the top and is 2 3/4″ high. This vintage piece shows age-appropriate wear, with some fine scratches and a few small, dark blue spots on the inside.

This fun set of pink melamine dishes from Watertown Lifetime Ware includes 4 cups, 4 saucers and 4 dinner plates with a seed pattern.

The cups are 4 1/8″ in diameter at the top.
The saucers are 6″ in diameter.
The dinner plates are 10 1/8″ in diameter.

These dishes are in good vintage condition and show very little wear.

Mid-Century Vibe Now on Etsy

Hey, all – Mid-Century Vibe is now on Etsy. We decided to open an Etsy shop in order to have a place online to offer our small mid-century items (a.k.a. “smalls”). As with any fledgling business, we’re sure there will be things we have to tweak as we go along, so please bear with us.

Etsy has a policy that if an item is offered in an Etsy shop, it must be sold through Etsy, so we won’t be offering these items elsewhere unless a listing expires. (We hope the items sell before that happens!) Have a look-see and enjoy some mid-century goodness in smaller sizes.
